ShibbyPrints 30-Day Limited Hardware Warranty and Return Policy

Printed-Parts Kits

ShibbyPrints warrants the printed parts included in a parts kit against functional defects in materials or workmanship for 30 days beginning on the delivery date.

If a covered defect prevents a printed part from functioning as intended, ShibbyPrints will provide a replacement part.

Because these components are 3D printed, minor surface variations and other cosmetic characteristics may be present. Cosmetic issues that do not affect the part’s intended function are not covered.

Damage caused by assembly errors, excessive filing or modification, stripped holes, misuse, accidents, or customer handling is not covered. If a customer damages a part, ShibbyPrints may offer a replacement for purchase at a reasonable price.

If an order arrives damaged during shipping, contact ShibbyPrints promptly through the Contact page and provide photographs of the packaging and affected components.

Assembled and Tested Units

Printed components included with an assembled and tested unit are covered by the same 30-day printed-parts warranty described above.

Electronics supplied with an assembled and tested unit are covered by a 30-day limited hardware warranty beginning on the delivery date. This warranty covers electronic components that fail because of a defect in materials or workmanship under normal intended use.

This warranty applies to the hardware supplied by ShibbyPrints. It does not guarantee the performance or compatibility of customer-supplied computers, case feeders, cables, mounting hardware, containers, or other external equipment.

Troubleshooting and Warranty Service

The customer may be asked to complete reasonable troubleshooting steps so the affected component can be identified.

If the problem can reasonably be corrected with a customer-replaceable component, ShibbyPrints will provide the covered replacement part and any necessary instructions. The customer is responsible for installing the replacement part.

If extensive diagnostics are required or the repair is not reasonably suitable for the customer to perform, ShibbyPrints may require the affected component or assembly to be returned. When a return is required, ShibbyPrints will provide a prepaid shipping label and will repair or replace the covered item before returning it to the customer.

If ShibbyPrints requests that a failed component be returned after sending a replacement, a prepaid return shipping label will be provided.

Electronics-Enclosure Safety

The electronics enclosure contains components and wiring that are not intended to be serviced by the customer during the warranty period.

For safety, do not open the enclosure, alter its wiring, change jumper positions, or add components without instructions from ShibbyPrints.

This warranty does not cover a failure, damage, or additional repair made necessary by:

  • Opening or improperly servicing the electronics enclosure
  • Incorrect wiring or cable connections
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Added or substituted components
  • Changed jumper settings
  • Improper installation or mounting
  • Misuse, accidents, or physical damage
  • Incompatible or defective external equipment

Opening or servicing the enclosure does not eliminate warranty coverage for an unrelated defect that was not caused by that activity.

Software, Models, and System Performance

This warranty applies to hardware only. It does not cover or guarantee:

  • Software operation or compatibility
  • Community-created models or training data
  • Classification accuracy
  • Sorting speed or model-training time
  • Calibration
  • Environment-dependent settings
  • Performance of customer-supplied equipment

Settings supplied with an assembled unit are baseline settings recorded during pre-shipment testing. They are provided as a starting point and may require adjustment for the customer’s computer, installation, lighting, case condition, or sorting environment.

Returns and Refunds

All sales are final. ShibbyPrints does not accept returns or provide refunds for buyer’s remorse, changes of mind, ordering errors, nonfunctional cosmetic variations, or incompatibility with customer-supplied equipment.

This policy does not affect the 30-day limited hardware warranty. Valid warranty claims will be handled through repair or replacement under the terms described above. Refunds will be provided only when required by applicable law.

After the Warranty Period

After the 30-day warranty period expires, replacement parts may be available for purchase.

Customers may repair, modify, or rebuild their systems using their own parts after the warranty period. ShibbyPrints is not responsible for failures, damage, or other issues caused by customer repairs or modifications.

Requesting Warranty Assistance

To request warranty assistance, contact ShibbyPrints through the Contact page and provide:

  • Your name and order information
  • A description of the problem
  • Photographs or video of the affected component, if requested
  • Any requested troubleshooting or diagnostic information

A warranty claim reported within the 30-day coverage period will not be denied solely because troubleshooting or repair continues after the coverage period expires.




Safety Warnings and User Responsibilities

The purchaser and operator are responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining the system safely and in accordance with all provided instructions and warnings.

  • This product is intended for use by adults age 18 or older.
  • This product is designed for sorting empty cartridge cases only.
  • Never place live ammunition, primed cases, powder, or other energetic materials into the system.
  • Always wear appropriate eye protection while installing, adjusting, testing, or operating the system.
  • Keep hands, hair, loose clothing, jewelry, tools, and other objects away from moving components while the system is operating.
  • Do not leave the system operating unattended.
  • Disconnect the system from power before clearing a jam, making adjustments, performing maintenance, or opening or removing any component.
  • Disconnect the system from power when it is not in use.
  • Do not operate a damaged, improperly assembled, or improperly wired system.
  • Stop using the system immediately if you observe unusual heat, smoke, odors, sounds, movement, or electrical behavior.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ShibbyPrints is not responsible for injury or property damage caused by misuse, use with live ammunition or other prohibited materials, improper installation, unauthorized modification, failure to follow safety instructions, or use outside the product’s intended purpose.
